RICHARD VIKSE
Project Executive

Richard Vikse has over 30 years experience in the design and construction field working as a licensed architect, contractor, and owner’s representative. This gives Richard a broad perspective in understanding the many facets of the design and construction process and the ability to manage the project team effectively and bring a project to a successful completion. 

Richard is currently serving as Project Executive overseeing the design and construction of the Hyatt Andaz New York Fifth Avenue.  Prior to joining Colgate Development, Richard was the Design Director at the World Trade Center Memorial and Memorial Museum, managing over 35 consultant firms.  Richard was the Senior Project Manager of design and construction representing The Museum of Modern Art in New York City.  In this capacity he managed both staff and the project team of architects, consultants, and the construction manager for the 630,000 square foot museum building expansion and the MoMA QNS 250,000 square foot temporary exhibition space and permanent art collection storage facility. 

Prior to that Richard was a Vice President and Senior Project Manager at Citigroup overseeing 1,800,000 square feet of capital projects in Midtown New York. He also managed the financial, design, construction, technology and facilities management facets of the Citigroup World Headquarters located in Citicorp Center.

Richard received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technology from the New York Institute of Technology.
